The Indiana Pacers (English: Indiana Pacers) are an NBA basketball team located in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. They belong to the Central Division of the Eastern Conference and their home stadium is Bankers Life Arena. The current team president is Kevin Lee Pritchard and the current head coach is Rick Carlisle. Indiana is known as the traditional basketball capital of the United States.
The team was established in 1967, joined the American Basketball Association (ABA), and won the ABA championship three times in 1970, 1972 and 1973. After joining the NBA in 1976, his best result was winning the Eastern Conference championship in the 2000 playoffs and reaching the finals, but failed to win the championship.
