They belong to the Northwest Division of the NBA West and their home stadium is the Pepsi Center. The team joined the ABA league from 1967 to 1976 and the NBA since 1976. Historically, it reached the ABA Finals in the 1975-76 season, reached the NBA Western Conference Finals five times in 1977-78, 1984-85, 2008-09, 2019-20, and 2022-23, and reached the NBA Finals for the first time in 2022-23. Won 4:1 to win the first NBA championship in team history.
